INSURANCE 

Update to insurance from previous years (effective 6/20/2026):

Renter coverage includes State Statutory Limits of Liability, Uninsured and/or Underinsured Motorists as required by law, Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection as required by law, and Comprehensive and Collision with a per-occurrence deductible. Insurance to renters applies on an excess basis over other collectible insurance not issued by the insurer.

If renters want higher limits of liability than the state minimum required limits, they do have the option to purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) for $24.95 per day online at https://mbains.com/. This increases the Liability Bodily Injury up to $500,000 with a $100,000 maximum per person and the Liability Property Damage to $50,000. SLI is completely optional.

Renters can also purchase Roadside Assistance for $15.00 per day at https://mbains.com/. Roadside Assistance must be purchased at least two days before the rental start date; it will not be available for purchase any closer to the rental start date.

All renters must sign a rental agreement with you and provide a valid driver’s license. If there will be multiple drivers during the rental, the additional drivers must be listed in the rental agreement as authorized drivers, and they must also provide valid driver’s licenses. The renter must also provide a copy of the insurance ID card for the tow vehicle.
